In
January 2001, Daniel & Jill Slayden purchased the small restaurant
from the Parcells. The change in ownership was barely
noticed. In just less then two years the small popular, mainly carry
out, lunch spot underwent a very visible
change and an expansion that transformed it to an upscale but casual
eatery
that buzzes with energy throughout lunch and into the early
evening. The menu has continued to grow with the addition of
new sandwiches, box lunches, party trays, deserts and even hand dipped ice cream,
milkshakes,
floats and more. Parcell's was chosen #1 "Best Place to Eat" in
the Best of the Lakes contest 2004. Parcell's Deli & Grille was
also chosen as #1 Lunch Place in the "Best of the Best in
Marshall County 2005"
